Use this website for your math interventions. Grade 4 please follow the Distance Learning Plans for your Math Interventions. NOTE: WC students: I won't be attached to Mrs. Jendzejec's Google Classroom so be sure to check here for plans and Zoom meetings! HH students: I am still attached to the grade 4 Google Classroom so I will post Zoom meetings there and be sure to get plans here! There are lessons and games and ideas for other activities as well. Games:
Multiplication War
One deck of cards- take out all face cards out (Joker, Jack, Queen, King, Aces)
Shuffle the cards
Deal the deck into two piles face down (partners up to four people)
Players turn over two cards at the same time and whomever has the greater product takes the cards.
If you have the same product, then it”s “War”. In this case players take two cards from his/her deck and places them on each of the two cards, then takes two more cards from the deck and places them down on top of each of the second cards. Turn over the last cards placed and multiply them together. The player with the greater amount wins.
Roll to 1,000: Multiply, then Multiply.Directions: Roll three dice. Multiply two dice together first. The product of the two dice are then multiplied together with the third die. Take lined paper and write that total on the first line. Taking turns with your partner, continue rolling and adding together your totals to be the first to reach 1,000. Play 3 games to find the winner!
